Abstract

A classical dilogarithm L(x) is very well known function, which has many applications in number theory, algebraic K-theory,geometry and topology of hyperbolic three-manifolds,representations of Virasoro and Kac-Moody algebras, conformal field theory,...(see [2} ). A quantum dilogarithm L(x,q) (see [1]) is an interesting "non-commutative" generalization of L(x). In principle there are several different versions of a classical dilogarithm as well as quantum one (see [4] for another modern application and also for interesting historical study). Surprisingly one of quantum versions of dilogarithm goes back to 19 century.
