I will try to describe various homological invariants of the regular block of the BGG category O. Some are elementary and some are more involved and require the Kazhdan-Lusztig combinatorics. The most interesting one seems to be the projective dimension of indecomposable tilting modules, which turns out to be given by Lusztig's a-function.
