Abstract:
I will discuss a geometric integration problem known as Cartan’s Realization Problem for G-structures (when G is a compact). I will show how Lie theory for Lie algebroids and Lie groupoids appears naturally in the solution. The talk is based on joint work with prof. Rui Loja Fernandes.
