We will briefly review some distinguished maps between two hyperbolic compact surfaces: earthquakes, minimal Lagrangian diffeomorphisms, rotations and landslides (introduced by Bonsante--Mondello--Schlenker), and "flips"' of particuliar cellulations of the surfaces. The existence of these maps is equivalent to the existence of particular convex sets in the 3d Anti-de Sitter space.
