Abtract
At the lecture, possible discretizations of complex analysis and some of their applications to probability and mathematical physics will be discussed.
About the speaker
Stanislav Smirnov is professor at Université de Genève. He has recently been awarded the 2010 Fields Medal for the proof of conformal invariance of percolation and the planar Ising model in statistical physics.
