Abstract
I will recall the algebraic construction of both classical and derived Hamiltonian reductions for the cotangent bundle to a variety X and relate it to a certain category of equivariant matrix factorizations. This is an old series of papers with Tina Kanstrup.
This seminar gives an introduction to this weeks "QGM research seminar" - the seminar is meant for Master and PhD students - all are welcome.
