Abstract:
In this talk I will introduce some tools of intersection theory. In particular, I will talk about Chow groups, Chern classes and Grothendieck-Riemann-Roch formula. I will focus on some specific examples, involving projective spaces and grassmannians.
This seminar gives an introduction to this week's "QGM seminar". The seminar is meant for Master and PhD students - all are welcome.
