Funding opportunities

We would like to draw your attention to the following two possibilities for applying for funds which could cover a postdoc position at Centre for Quantum Geometry of Moduli Spaces at Aarhus University.

 

AIAS-COFUND Junior Fellowships (a duration of 12 to 36 months): postdoctoral research careers of 2-10 years. The target group of the programme is talented researchers with at least two years of fulltime research experience after completing their PhD. Applicants can choose their research topic freely within all academic areas. Eligible applicants must comply with the following mobility demands:

Open for all nationalities. At the time of the deadline, applicants shall not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies etc.) in Denmark for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the deadline.

Deadline: Friday, 5 February 2016 at 12.00 (noon) CET.

The research proposal must be submitted via the AU online application system, using www.efond.dk/aias and must cover the sections described in this guide for applicants.

 

VILLUM Foundation Young Investigator grant

The call is expected to open in the spring 2016

Cancelled call

This call from DFF-FNU has unfortunately been cancelled due to financial cuts to the council (Danish press release 10 Dec 2015):

The Danish Research Council for Natural Sciences (DFF-FNU) has a call for Individual Postdoctoral grants (2 year duration). Applicants must have obtained their PhD within the last 4 years – calculated from the application deadline.

Deadline for DFF-FNU: 27 April 2016 at 7:00 pm via the official online application system (E-grant).
