QGM postdoc selected to the Heidelberg Laureate Forum 2018

The Scientific Committee of the Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation has selected QGM Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow, Roberta Iseppi, to participate in the Heidelberg Laureate Forum 2018

Only the 200 most qualified young researchers can be given the opportunity to enrich and share the unique atmosphere of the Heidelberg Laureate Forum - 100 in Mathematics and 100 in Computer Science. QGM postdoc, Roberta Iseppi, is one of them.  

The Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation (HLFF) annually organizes the Heidelberg Laureate Forum, which is a networking event for mathematicians and computer scientists from all over the world. The 6th Heidelberg Laureate Forum will take place from 23- 28 Sep. 2018.

The recipients of the most prestigious awards in Mathematics (e.g. the Abel Prize and the Fields Medal) and in and Computer Science are invited to participate. The Scientific Committee of the HLFF decides on a topical focus in close communication with the laureates.

Roberta obtained her PhD in Oct 2015 from Radboud University Nijmegen (Netherland). Afterwards she held a postdoc position at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics, Bonn. Further she has been a visiting researcher at Caltech, Hausdorff Research Institute and Trieste University - and she won the Philips Mathematics Prize at the “50th Dutch Mathematical Congress” in April 2014.

In may 2017 Roberta Iseppi joined QGM in a two year Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship funded by the European Unions Horizon 2020 innovation programme.
