Abstract

Nakajima quiver varieties are symplectic algebraic varieties parameterizing certain representations of quivers. They are of importance for Algebraic Geometry, Geometric Representation theory and Mathematical Physics. Their quantizations are, basically, associative algebras with deep and interesting representation theory closely related to the geometry of the underlying varieties. In this course, we will introduce quiver varieties and their quantizations, discuss generalities on their representation theory and then focus on the joint work of I.L. and Roman Bezrukavnikov, arxiv.org/abs/1309.1716, studying finite dimensional irreducible representations of quantizations.
